>> You can stay in Australia for up to 3 months on each
visit.
Can I re enter on the same ETA visa?
>> An ETA is valid on your passport for 12 months from
date of issue, and is multiple entry
I have children on my passport do they require an ETA visa?
>> Everybody entering Australia require an ETA visa.
How long does it take to obtain an ETA visa?
>> An ETA visa can be issued by Visas Australia Company
within 24 hours and a confirmation of your visa will be posted
or emailed to you.

Working Holiday Visa FAQs
Do I need to show proof of funds?
>> You should have sufficient funds (approx £2000)
for your initial stay in Australia and to cover the cost of
an onward/return airfare
Can I apply for a Working Holiday Visa whilst in Australia?
>> You have to be outside Australia when you apply and
can only enter when the visa is granted.
How long does it take to be issued?
>> The visa is usually issued within 48 hours, unless
you have health/character requirements.
How do I know I have got a working holiday visa?
>> You obtain your visa label once you arrive in Australia,
but a confirmation is sent to you via email or post confirming
a working holiday visa has been issued against your passport.
How long can I stay in Australia on a working holiday visa?
>> A working holiday visa gives you a stay in Australia
for 12 months. From the date your visa is granted you have
12 months to travel to Australia, and your stay starts from
the date you first enter the Country.
Can I leave and then re-enter on a working holiday visa?
>> Yes you can leave and re-enter Australia within the
12 months from the date of your initial entry.
How long can I work in Australia?
>> You can work in Australia for 12 months, but you
can not be employed by any one employer for more than three
months.
I want to work in the health care industry whilst in Australia,
do I require a medical?
>> Yes you will be required to undergo a chest x-ray,
medical and HIV/Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C testing.
Will I need a chest x-ray?
>> A chest x-ray will be required if:
You have spent more than 3 consecutive months in the last
five years or you are a resident in a Country or Countries
considered to be of a very high health risk of tuberculosis.
You are likely to enter an Australian hospital or health care
or you are likely to be engaged in an Australian child care
centre as either on employee or trainee.
Do I require travel insurance?
>> Yes, there is a reciprocal agreement with Australia
but Visas Australia Company strongly recommends you take out
travel insurance
I have had a WHV before, but I never entered Australia, can
I have another one?
>> Yes, if you never entered Australia on the working
holiday visa and you still meet the requirements you can apply
for the visa.
I have had a WHV before, can I have another one?
>> No, but if you can apply for a tourist visa or if
you meet the requirements obtain a New Zealand working holiday
visa shown in the side menu.
