Example trips I have taken (and would do again although there is so much more to see) are wine and food festivals in France, Italy and Germany / Skiing and boarding in the Alps / Touring the Romantic Road of Germany / Spending Christmas and New Years in Salzburg and Vienna / Sailing around the USVI / Safaris in E. Africa / Trekking in the Nordic countries, Thailand and British Columbia / Visiting Bed & Breakfasts in the UK and Scotland / and Camping in the US National Parks.

Places I would certainly like to meet friends for a visit include anywhere in Europe, Asia, South Pacific, Australia, and New Zealand.
