Me? I'm so frustrated with the rat race that's embedded into everyone's ''normal'' life. Why do we have to earn 'this much' or 'that much' or even try to is more to the point.....Personally, I believe the secret is to work out what income you would need to do the things, or live the realistic life you REALLY want and the real 'down to earth' travellers don't really need that much.
Hey, check this out. I've just hit 47yrs, I've had a wonderful 20yrs in my own business (sold it) and the only thing I have to show for it is I paid off my mortgage. Sounds good when you think I could comfortably rent out my small flat for £700ish a month....Let's say I did...I love the far East and we all know how cheap you can live out there..and with a regular income coming in, life should be heaven as long as you want it to be! BUT...I'm married...and happy too! But 700 is still not quite enough for two people travelling. Well it may be if my wife was prepared to live like I would be. We all know that we could exist on so very little but so many people get accustomed to the luxurys of life...me included....but seriousely...I wanna go...an' maybe come back...when I'm ready...without hurting anybody.....
