About Me
My glass is always half full, never half empty, and I'd like to grow old disgracefully! I love life, good food, good wine, good conversation and good companions on my travels, wherever I may meet them.
I've spent half my career shipping fuel & oil to certain Formula 1 teams (think red!) all over the world, now (having managed to retire early!) it's time to slow the pace, and enjoy some leisurely travelling of my own!
I've travelled fairly extensively with my daughter over the years, but there's still an awful lot of world left to see.
Apart from travelling I enjoy reading (never without a book), movies (amassing a large DVD collection), cooking and pottering in the garden.
Very easy-going - I prefer to see the funny side of life and the curved balls it occasionally throws at us - this is all we get, it's not a rehearsal, so we should enjoy every experience that comes our way - how else can we leave a history of our own!
