GLOBAL TRAVELLER & COMPANION

I have been travelling around the world since mid December 2004. I plan to continue travelling with a companion until someone or something changes my plan.


Essence qualities that describe me. I also enjoy these in a companion –
Conscious, self-reliant, self-contained, spiritually awakened, meditative. Mature/young-at heart, highly responsible. Free of attachments and addictions, non-smoker. No or lo snorer, watchful, still, silent, aware.
English speaking, poetic, prosaic, well educated, intelligent, intuitive/lateral. Adaptable, resourceful, resilient, flexible. Light-hearted, witty, humorous. INTEGRITY.
Generous, good-natured, patient, kind, caring, gentle, calm, content. LOVING. Healthy, wealthy & very wise.

Maintaining a mindfulness and mastery over every thought I think, every word I speak.

Enjoyments –
Fine, healthy food - mainly vegetarian. Dessert wines, sweet liquers. Choccies, healthy lollies, nuts, fruits. Home cooking, home made heavy, healthy breads. Spicy Asian/Indian cuisines mostly.
Easy listening, ambient, light, pop, classical, celtic & certain country music & songs on great sound systems.
Films, films, films – from fact-based dramas of crime-solving and esoteric TV genre to big budget epics and Star Trek type Sci Fi in Hi Fi stereo. Now aiming for HDD on TFT or LCD. [I can explain!!]
Natural beauty – in plants, animals, minerals. In land, sea, sky scapes – day and night. In human forms and their aesthetic creations. Typically Taurean. Occasional stillness, solitude, silence. Candlelight. Incense.
Professional therapeutic massage – giving, receiving, followed by a long, warm, fragrant bath. Walking with a friend, sharing loving strokes, making gentle, wholesome, committed love with the right woman in my life.
Deep and meaningful conversations – from heart to heart, spirit to spirit, body to body.
I have enough money to be generous. Living the good life of modest luxury. Sharing with a special friend.
Using my AV dedicated laptop as a portable TV, digital camera, letter writer, movie player, companion.

Some challenges –
Figuring out how to shift from analogue (old TV and sound systems) to digital and how to communicate through the internet with all its nerdy jargon and novice-user-unfriendly software.
Containing my annoyance at my apparent helplessness in the face of constant curve-ball bombardments from the complicated program writers, software makers, virus senders and internet thieves.

Keeping cool and centred as the busyness of life rushes at me from all around when I get too involved or too close to most humans.
Remaining content and complete in every circumstance which living in a complex world brings up daily.

I feel a deep readiness to meet the spiritually evolved traveller.
