swinging in a hammock on the balcony of a $10 hut that overlooks the stream on the far end of Muang Ngoi Neua - watching the water buffalo drink . Or sitting at the empty and very scenic outdoor Sunset Bar before crossing the rickety footbridges to another great outdoor bar – one with an all-night bonfire and an interesting assortment of travellers who exchange stories and worldviews and drink Beerlao til the wee hours)… I know that chilling out and enjoying the beauty of nature is just one of the great aspects of travelling – but it’s those moments that make me think, “yeah… this is the life!
