About Me
Update to plans. Waiting on a possible redundancy package from work. May need to delay my plans until June 2007. (May not get redundancy and could be leaving anytime before then)
Booked a whilstlestop SE Asian tour for December 2006 to make up for it! (posted on the boards)
Totally unhappy/bored with my present job working for anglo/american drugs company for 19 years the last 4 working shifts. I'm well travelled especially in Europe. Always wanted to do some serious travelling when I was younger and now at 35 I find find myself free from marital responsibilities and a mortgage. I have a buisness plan up my sleeve for my return but for now I want a well deserved break and timeout and plan to travel for at least a year starting with SE asia in January. I have done some independant travel in the past but only 2 week periods and I've never travelled alone before but I'm expecting that is going to be the case as I plan to be away so long. However I'd be happy to hook up with people along the way and I'm looking forward to meeting new friends on the way. I'm very interested in Phillipines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Borneo, Sumatra, Indonesia and Malaysia. I can't wait to do more diving which I've done a little of in the past but planning on doing the open water course in UK this summer.
I like swimming, walking, travel, PC games (MMORPG), natural history, Photography, most music, quizzes, Science fiction, poker, board games, wine, olives, fish, cooking and my dog Scout.
I'm easy going, intellegent, pragmatic, optimistic, and gentle with a GSOH
