About Me
I am:

* intelligent, rational, calm, healthy, tall, adventurous but not reckless.
* long time amicably divorced, with no kids, no commitments and no hang ups (consider me single).
* monogamous, heterosexual, with no antisocial perversions.
* a heavy non-smoker and a social (wine) drinker.
* a born-again atheist.

I am looking for a female partner who is:

* intelligent, healthy, fit, non-smoking, educated and adventurous
* independent and free to travel for very long periods*. Probably single.
* aged 40 to 55
* able to drive a large campervan (or willing to learn).
* able to pay her share (or does not mind being paid for.**)
* an experienced traveler in remote places and happy to rough it sometimes.
* happy, enthusiastic and emotionally robust.

* My "long" trips typically last between six and twelve months. I would, of course, expect that we would get to know each other very well, and do several short trips before considering a long one.

** This is seen as a problem by many people. But it is hard enough finding the right person to travel with, without the added constraint that they too should have the financial means to travel for long periods without working. I am able to pay for two and would much rather do so than travel alone. If this worries you (and in a way I'm glad if it does) then let's talk about it.

Where and how I like to travel.

Over the last eight years I have traveled overland in my expedition campervan to China, Tibet, Nepal, Siberia, Mongolia, Iceland, Central and South America. It has been great fun! Over the next few years I would like to continue with this life-style. There is still a lot of the world left to explore, perhaps Australia, New Zealand, trans-Africa or back to Mongolia or South America. (I also like skiing and shorter European breaks). Where would you like to go?

Being with with a partner who gets real pleasure out of travelling together is an important part of my enjoyment.
