Located 18 miles from the downtown is the Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD). It is one of the busiest airports in the world and is the largest hub of United Airlines and American Airlines. The airport is one of the busiest and well connected airports in the United States which was adjudged as the “Best Airport in North America” during the year 2000. Over 70 million people travel through this airport. The Chicago Airport provides excellent connectivity with the rest of the city. The airport lies on interstate highway 190. From airport if you intend to go to central Chicago take interstate 90 to visit west suburbs take interstate 88 then interstate 294.
