25th November
We got up a bit later this morning and got the tram to the Queen Victoria market, it had a variety of goods on sale, we didn’t buy anything but just admired them. Today was some what warmer than the previous day and we actually managed to take our coats off whilst enjoying a cuppa in the market. As it was such a nice day we decided to go to the Melbourne 360 degrees tower. It is a skyscraper in the heart of the city offering 360 degree view from the 54th floor, due to it being a clear day we could see along way off.
After taking in the views of the city we walked to federation square to have lunch in a place that the lady in the information centre had recommended to us. The food was excellent quality and great value for money, this was a great recommendation.
The rest of the day we spent walking around window shopping, both Dan and I need a coat for Canada so we dragged Sarah around the outdoor shops, but unfortunately didn’t find what we wanted.
The rest of the evening we relaxed in the room and made some phone calls to people at home as for once we found a phone that actually worked!!
