27th, 28th, and 29th April

We spent most of our days with the dutch couples, lazing on the beach soaking up the sun and the occasional shower!!

The beach here has got lovely white sand and the sea is calm so it's lovely to swim in. Well at least it was until the jelly fish invaded!! This happened on the 29th, not just one or two but loads. I got stung by one so that put me off of taking any more dips!!

Although this is a nice beach it's not really a good place to relax. The beach is patrolled by children selling bracelets, women offering manicures pedicures and massages and numerous beggars. Due to the sheer number of them it means you get hassled at least every 5Min's sometimes even less than that!!

Dan and i gave in on a number of occasions, he had a massage and i had a manicure!!

On the day i got stung by the jelly fish Dan got food poisoning from our breakfast. We rushed off the beach and headed back to the room where Dan stayed close to the toilet for the rest of the day and night!! Whilst he was at home suffering i went out with the 2 Anna's, Marcel and lee. What a great meal we had and with Dan at home it gave us the opportunity to arrange a surprise birthday meal.

Although Dans birthday wasn't until 5th may we decided it would be nice to have an early celebration as we would have gone our separate ways by the 5th. So we arranged with the restaurant that we would come back on the 1st and they would get some fireworks and make a huge ice cream cake. By the end of the night we had a good scam going to ensure it would be a good night.
