Bula Bula Bula! everyone,
which means (hello, life and everything under the sun) for people who don't know. Fiji is a very friendly place, the fijians sing u a little hello song when you arrive and a good bye song when you leave, they end up doing this dozens of times a day Bless em.
my bithday was spent on a desert island that you can walk around in a matter of minutes its so small, with warm, occassional hot, tropical blue waters, which was lovely on the tall ship back to the main land they sang me a lovely version of happy birthday.
After that have been island hopping some resorts have been basic to say the least! and sadly i had the worst food poisining ever in one little scabby, rat in fested place. but it was an experience all the same (i wanted to die after the fifth time of getting out of bed to vomit in the dark outside toliet that did'nt flush)
we are back on the main land today and i have never been so happy to see a Mcdonalds in my life (best meal Ever)
on the island our 3 meals a day mostly consisted of rice and frozen veg with ominous looking 'Meat'.
some points it did feel like being on an episoide of sirviver, all though i think we may have been being a little melodramatic, (we're all gonna die out here!! etc ) it has been a very lazy cople of weeks with the most exsersion being a 30 minute walk to the "blue Lagoon" where they shot the movie. which was alright, not that blue, but lovely. we also swam in caves which was super scary, i had to swim through a dark tunnel to get to the inside cave and when i was inside i couldnt stop thinking that if there was a rather big wave we would all be drowned. it was a bit like a ghost train in water, and it was scaryly deep.
