5 May 2008 - The snake house

30th April

The weather was pretty grim so we spent most of the day playing pool with the dutch couples. We also booked our bus trip out of Cambodia for the 2nd may.

Most of you will know that Dan loves his sleep, this usually means that i wake up at least a few hours before him. To keep me busy i usually go on the internet, this gave me the opportunity to start planning Dans birthday suprise.....a night in a 5 star hotel. We were going to be in Koh Chang (an island in Thailand) for his birthday so i sent a few inquiries to some hotels. It was good to have the dutch guys around as i was able to tell them what i was up to and it was nice to get a second

opinion.

That evening Anna, lee, Dan and i decided we would go to a restaurant called the snake house.

The snake house was amazing. Although the food was rather pricey it was worth it to see the aquarium and snakes. Some of the tables had snakes living in them and others were positioned round the huge aquarium which had a wide variety of fish.

The aquarium had lobsters, puffer fish, clown fish, corals a small sting ray, butterfly fish and many many more. I could have spent a whole day just watching them all.

They also had a wide range of snakes, boas, pythons, rat snakes and even some Cayman crocs.
