25 October 2007 - Buenos Aires

Well we have spent a thoroughly pleasant as well as thoroughly lazy few days in Buenos Aires. The weather has been gloriously warm and sunny which was a bit of a surprise since it is only spring here. We have mooched around the city. We took the lazy tourists option of a bus tour of Buenos Aires which included a stop at the Boca Juniors football stadium where they have a statue of Maradonna. It was very tempting to just knock it over but considering the man is very much revered as a god here I thought better of it!

We also spent a splendid day at a spa. Everything is so cheap here that you can get 5 hours for less than the price of a 1 hour massage in London! We went for the anti stress package as all this constant holidaying can take its toll you know!!

We also went to see a Tango show. The dancing was fab but the dinner was a bit ropey! We wished we had just gone for the show because it was a wasted opportunity for another meal in one of the many fantastic restaurants in Buenos Aires. We are slowly working our way through the Time Out restaurant recommendations!
