16 June 2008 - Our last day in Krabi

10th June

We got up and booked a ticket for the boat to koh Phi Phi at 3pm that afternoon. We had decided we would go into town and waste a few hours on the internet as we had to check out of our room.

At 2pm we had to start making our way back to the guest house but much to our dismay it was chucking it down. It wasn't just a drizzle we were soaked through and dripping within minuets. By the time we got to the guest house we looked like we'd just had a bath with our clothes on!! I had to laugh, Dan wasn't impressed but it is the rainy season on the west coast after all!!

We asked the lady at the guest house for a towel just so we could dry our faces, she informed us that the transport had been and gone already (it was early) but she would get one of her employees to take us to the ferry.

After some persuasion from her employee we decided to stay another day in krabi and get the early boat in the morning. The sea was bound to be rough and with my poor ability to travel without being sick it seemed a wise decision!
