14th December
Today is Dan and my anniversary, 4 years has flown by and we both feel very lucky to have found each other and better still that the last 10 months travelling together has brought us even closer together. This has been a real test for us and if we can put up with each other 24/7 i have no worries for the future (although as all couples there are times when we drive each other crazy!!!)
As we had sold Rene we decided we would go and buy our coats for Canada as at that moment we did not have any coat at all, so we headed into Sydney armed with a wallet full of cash!! After a couple of hours wandering in and out of shops we found what we wanted including some merino wool base layers and parted with a hefty sum of money.
We spent the rest of the day looking round the city, we got the usual pictures of the Sydney Opera house and the bridge, thankfully the weather was beautiful so we had a great afternoon. To celebrate our anniversary we decided to go for a meal, all the restaurants in the city seemed so overpriced so we got the bus back into bondi so we could eat there.
Once showered and dressed up we went to the beach area and found a lovely Italian restaurant where we indulged on food and wine. We had a lovely evening and marvelled at all the places we have been this year, we like to try to remind ourselves of things as we forget after seeing so much.
