28 July 2005 - Banff

Well, what a lovely place Banff is! Stayed in the Bumpers Inn, very pleasant basic 2* type deal. Right next to 2/3 good places to eat. We spent most of our time at Sunshine Village, which it has to be said, is one of the best places I have ever skied.

We tried out Lake Louise on the last day, good decision to give it only one day because the snow wasn't too good on that day. A lot of it is cannoned on to the piste anyway...

I bought myself a Snowboard especially for this trip and it turned out to be the best decision ever. No more skis for me :) Yay!!

Anyway, if you love to Ski/Board go to Banff if you get a chance.
