Day 32 - Sunbathed, swam in pool, ate, drank etc
Day 33 - as above
Day 34 - as above and went out on a kayak. Such a hard life!
Day 35 - last day in Railay Beach. But it's been lovely to relax and rest for a few days. Flew back to Bangkok for last time.
Day 36 - We were asked to change from our booked flight onto an earlier one to Singapore. Unfortunately this ended up being delayed so we still arrived at about the same time! Had a walk round the area near our hotel - saw the famous Raffles Hotel (bit too posh for us though - room prices from 700-2000 SGD!!). Feels weird to be back in a more Western culture - we kind of miss the S.E Asia lifestyle. We had a browse round one of the many malls (where Ricky purchased a pair of Converse trainers for 18 quid) and then caught a new film "Stardust" at the cinema.
Day 37 - We went on a City Sightseeing Bus Tour in the morning (unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't sit on the open-top). More shopping was followed by an arduous trek on the MRT (tube) to Changi Airport. We haven't carried our fully laden backpacks until now - we have too much stuff! At the airport we were asked to change flights but luckily we got on a direct flight to Perth so we got there earlier. We arrived at 2am so it was straight to the hostel and to bed.
