5 May 2008 - Mexico

Day 213 - A day trip with Gemma and Adam to Tijuana, Mexico's northern most city. We had fun initially walking through border control (there wasn't any!) and down the main shopping street (being pestered by the shopowners trying to entice you into their shops). Lynne and Gemma bought some silver jewellery (very sensible). Ricky and Adam purchased sombreros (not very sensible given their size!). We all had our picture taken with the sombreros and Ricky and Adam persuaded a local shopowner to let them borrow two ponchos for another photo opportunity. We had a traditional mexican lunch of burritos, chimichanga, tacos, refried beans etc whilst watching the second half of the Chelsea vs Liverpool Champions League game.
