11 November 2007 - Remembering You Guys

OK, I know that it's been ages since I've updated, and I've been getting a lot of jip for it, but really, I can't help it if I'm too busy enjoying the good weather to be giving everyone a blow-by-blow.

Anyway, since I last wroteI've started work and am well on my way to getting myself an apartment sorted our properly. Been working a call centre, some of you might find it hard to believe that I'm actually being paid to ring people up and talk to them all day. While others would think that I've found my calling. Must say work's not bad, even if it's eight hour days/six days a week.

I have to admit though, that I have been missing the UK a bit, there are just somethings that are a bit weird. I don't think I'm ever gonna get used to some of the slang that they use noticing a slip in the standards of office wear, thongs can only be worn on casual days like Friday."? I mean really? And I also miss the chocolate! The Australian Cadburys is just not up to par, in fact I'm sure it's illegal them to defame the name of chocolate by masquerading the stuff they produce as chocolate at all! Oh yeah, and I have been missing you guys to, just a 'little' bit.
