After a long and lonely bus trip I made it to Igazu. After a quick shower I went and organised myself to be on the bus to the Argentinian side the next day and decided that I would leave the next night for Buenos Aires.
It has to be said that had I not spent so much time lookign at pictures of Iguazu at the height of its watery glory I would not have been disappointed, even when its "dry" it is beautiful.
but even so, couldnt help but think wheres the water? An Agentinian assured me, as thought it would make me feel better that it was at the cyclical 30year low, and that it was also the lowest it has been since the early 20th century. Someone else tried to put a positive spin on it, "how many other people can say they saw Iquazu at its lowest in 70 years"...
didnt make me feel better.
Still beautiful.
