12 August 2006 - Buenos Aires... Bigger and better than before!

I arrived in Buenos Aires and checked into Mill House hostel, as since I had left Ba before it had been the one I had heard the most about. I met up with a group of English people I had met in Iquazu. There was one girl and three boys who had all taken a trip away together during their university holidays. I have a feeling that Claire was greatful for more female company, and they soon adopted me and were mocking me in the way they did claire. Thye soon decided that me and claire were in fact the smae person, based both on a study of our personalities and and by questioning us on our homelife and childhoods.

Beyond that, I had an even better time in BA than the first time, as being slightly more confident and having a little more spanish I was happier to stray out of my comfort zone. Claire and I spent most of our days shopping and visiting various historic and tourist spots and practising our spanish with various taxi drivers. We spent our evenings sampling the nightlife (with Claire and myself sampling our new clothes and shoes at the same time). There are some really huge clubs there, and while they are good fun I felt that they lacked the personality of Lapa.

We had arranged to learn to play horse polo on my last say, but in true south american logic it was cancelled on the finest day I had seen in that city, due to bad weather.

Im very sad to have to think about leaving, but am looking forward to 2hours being along way to travel, and 2am to be a late night... other than that I wish my little trip did not have to come to an end, and I will try not to cry too much tonight infront of people!
