I'm currently in Belgrade and all is well.
Just a quick entry today as i have beer to drink and things to pack and showers to have and clothes to wash.
Anyhow, last night was the best train journey I've ever taken. It was much fun. Meet nice people on the train, saw an amazing sunset and sunrise and got my first stamp in my passport. There is much more to tell of the journey but I'll update this entry later to add it all in.
Belgrade as a city i think is an aquired taste. But I've acquired it. I love this city and I have no idea why. The people are friendly though not outstandily so and mostof the achitecture is decideedly average. But still there's something about it. Also it's mage cheap whicyh is always nice.
I have lots to say about this city but ill add it when i update this journal.
Oh and i saw the best ever graffittii today- quite simply "Fuck NATO". Classic. On that note, theres a massive army building down the road from the hostel whch was totally gutted in the bombing 7 years ago and has been left exactly as the it was when the bombs hit it. You can still see bits of shrapnel and broken furniture.
Oh, and a question for Pauoline- Why does this country ahve a parliament of representatives and a federal parliament? Im confused.
Right must get back to my new friend from Dundee.. Yes Dundee.

p.s Mum, the pig was in pride of place on my train bed last night, soon he wil be an intercontinetal pig. Oh yes.
