10 February 2010 - India in March

So...I'm going to India in March. I knew if I didn't buy the $1,000 ticket I wouldn't go, so I bought it and even after friends, family and coworkers telling me I will get killed, raped, groped, etc. I have decided to go anyway. I have been doing a lot of research especially about solo travelers in India, women to be exact. I plan to be cautious and I know there is always a risk when traveling alone, but why should my plans be trampled by the fact that no one else wants to go. Any advice anyone has, or if you will be in Goa and Kerala around between March 5th-21st I would love to hear from you. More updates to come...
