29 September 2006 - MV Sea Serpent, Red Sea, Egypt
Another diving trip to the Red Sea. This really is the easy way to dive! Were headed to the southern Red Sea down to St Johns Reef on the Sudanese border. Water temp very warm, 30 degrees so no wet suits needed this week! A heavy schedule of 4 dives a day (thank goodness for computers). So far some very attractive soft corals and interesting scenery. Not so many big fish this time of year and certainly no sharks on Elphinstone this time! Had a lovely encounter with a Hawksbill turtle who stayed with us for most of the dive and even joined us on the deco stop.
