well it is a Saturday and the sun she is shining. Can just imagine all the people on cape town beaches - such a beautiful day. Now u may ask yourself why am I not out there climbing a mountain, cycling my bike... Well I am on crutches after a knee op.
Strange how these things happen and slow u down but at the same time speed you up as you now have quiet planning time.
So what am I planning - a month journey to Gabon. I mean if it is called The last remaining Eden - how can I possibly MISS this.
So right now I am compiling information, cringing at the budget and thinking happy thoughts. My plan is to go April next year - lapsing over into May - so I have a bit of the wet and the dry season so I can experience as much as possible.
Who am I going with.... looks like it is me, myself and I again..
So if there is anyone out there keen to see the itinerary I have planned and may be interested to join me on a another mad adventure gimme a shout.
After Gabon its a 5 month back to work spree before I can scrounge a couple of days togehter to join my mates on a 4x4 trip to Zambia.
2008 is just around the corner and it going to be another amazing year in Africa filled with amazing experiences hope you all have something special to look forward to!
