Just been to the 6th Floor Museum in Dallas. Had to write something, especially as I write this only 100ft from where he was killed.
The museum is very insightful of his life and inspirational work.
I wanted to add that outside on Elm Street where he was killed there are un-official X's painted on the street where the shots hit him. This is a stark reminder of the events that occured that fateful day.
However... I saw people, lots of people getting their picture taken directly on these X's, one woman was smiling... is it just me? Or is this not remebering him the way his family would want. I would not take a picture of the place where he died in respect for the man.
Remember his life, not ponder over the place he was shot.
