8 January 2006 - Catch up

In the past 3 months I have explored most of the East Coast and some of the west coast. Thought I better write it down so I know what I have done.

I started in Sydney where I stayed in a few hostels met a few people went out a few times etc. I got a horrendous job selling American Express and generally felt that although Sydney was a pretty city, I could be in any other city in the world. So I hopped on a flight to Cairns.

Arrived in Cairns stayed at Gilligans and made some brilliant friends, and generally had the time of my life for two weeks, going out every night sunbathing everyday, and of course spending money fast. Then got a job as a waitress for a few weeks, until they realised I was useless and stopped giving me any hours. I then got the best job ever selling a pub crawl, (chatting up cute guys and then asking if they wanted to come out with me on Saturday night). When I wasnt working I made various trips to Port Douglas, Cape Tribulation, wake boarding, diving and generally having a blast. I spent 6 weeks in Cairns then headed down the coast.

Started in Magnetic Island which I felt was a bit of a let down compared to some of the places I had previously visited. Then It was down to Airley Beach and around the Whitsundays which was absolutely beautiful but I the group on the boat wasnt great. Next night Airley Beach where I had a really bad experience and Tim and I get attacked. Then Down to Hervey Bay and Fraser Island. Best group ever have a fabulous time. Then Byron Bay, nice time looking round the shops and lazing on the beach, with a quick trip to Nimbin of course. Then back to where I started in Sydney meet up with the familly and we all fly to Perth for Christmas.

Perth is boring seem to only meet familly not terribly hot, familly annoys me, feel I see and do nothing the entire time.
