16 June 2008 - Krabi...continued

8th June

After a good nights sleep we set of into the town to find some breakfast. We found a western cafe and sat down to enjoy a fry up!! They never taste quite the same as back home but they're pretty good all the same! In the menu they had a picture of Leonardo Di-Caprio (a lead actor in a movie filmed close by)! Next to it was his "favorite food" which you could order, at a cost!!

Dan and i walked round the town looking for somewhere to book up some climbing. Our guest house was a 20min walk from town so we thought we'd wait and see what they offered as it would be easier if Dan was picked up from there.

The town was pretty bland really, just the usual shops and cafes so we would leave once Dan had done his climbing. Luckily our guest house was able to arrange some climbing so Dan was set to go in the morning.

9th June

Dan left at 7.30am to go climbing, i had the whole day to myself!! I decided i would get a lay in before heading into town for brunch!

I was hoping to go to the morning market but had spent too long on the internet so it was closing up when i got there! Instead i went into a local restaurant and had chicken and rice.

It was pretty lonely without Dan around, it certainly made me grateful that we had each other to go traveling with as it wouldn't be the same without him! I walked along the river for an hour or so and it began to rain so i found shelter in an internet cafe!

I made my way back to the guest house at 4pm and eagerly awaited for Dans return and his report on his day.

That evening we caught up on each others days and had dinner in town, with a stop off at the 7-11 for some chocolate!!
