26 April 2008 - the dead fish

22nd April

That evening Anna, lee, Marcel, Anna, Dan and i headed into town for dinner. We ate at a place called the dead fish. It was a funky restaurant with lots of platforms elevated at different levels in which you could sit and eat. In the corner they had a pen with around 7 crocodiles although we have no idea why they are there!

Dan and i ordered a set menu whilst the others opted for steak. We soon regretted our choice as the set meals came out after about 5Min's and look as though they had been re-heated.

Meanwhile the others steaks arrived, Dan and i watched with envy as they ate their meal!!!

23rd April

Dan and i had a chores day.....washing sorting out the photo's we've taken, writing up the journal and any emails which need to be replied. We also arranged a bus back to phnom phen for the following day, as all 6 of us were going we managed to get a deal which saved us $6 per couple.

The evening we ate at the guest house and watched a film. We didn't want to be to late to bed as we had an early morning the following day. The meal i had at the dead fish can back to haunt me........thats all you need when you've got a bus journey coming up!!
