29th June
We had decided to have a quite day to day and just explore the village and book up a tour for the next day. After our walk the previous day our legs were aching a little!!
The village is small with a row of shops and restaurants, most of them being Indian. We found a nice local place that sold cheap but tasty food, this was to become our local for our time in the highlands!!
Among the row of shops there are also stalls where people sell their good, one of these in particular caught our attention. The man was making goods out of leather, handbags, wallets, bracelets and hats. All the things he had made beautiful and unique, both Dan and i admired his work.
After a tasty meal at one of the Indian restaurants we headed back up to the guest house. More stalls had been put out and again there was another man making leather goods. After looking at his stuff we realized just how good the first guy's work was!! Dan did a few sums and decided that 10GBP was a bargain for a hand made leather wallet!!
