Hello all. Am in Colombia! After 15 hours of flying, 3 planes, 3 countries, we are finally here!
Im currently sat in a little cafe next to Yusmaris flat...for those of you who dont know, thats the lovely lass who has given us a home for a few days.
Everything is going really well here. The heavens opened this morning but now the sun is shining and its topped 30degrees.
It seems like its taken forever to get here but now i am its truly bizzare writing this with spanish music behind me, after a nice colombian local beer that cost me 1.30p for 4. I seem to be telling everybody this, and Yusmari doesnt know what the big deal is but iv told her to wait til she gets to england!
Anyway..plans for the next few days. I think wer off out tonight maybe into the city for a bit of a mooch around some bars etc. Then me and Guy are off to Cartagena tomorrow, hopefully with Yusmari in tow. Then back for the football on saturday morning before a trip to the playas blancas of Santa Marta. Its so so lovely not having a ruitine or dragging myslef out of bed for work.
I hope everybody is doing well and if your doing exams hope their going smoothly. Missing everybody terribly but now the sun and vibrant atmosphere is calling me.
