7 October 2005 - Ayer Itam

I recommend setting aside a full day to explore the Temple at Ayer Itam (Kek Lok Si). I didn't, so I'm back !!

Hint : take plenty of high factor suncream, and have plenty to drink. The temple is very high on the top of the hill, and very exposed to the sun. Temperatures up here peak 37 C during the afternoons.

At the top, watch out for moped riders, those guys appear from no-where !! I think they are mainly construction workers involved in the latest building phase of the new prayer hall ? Does any one else know for certain ?
