25 February 2007 - easy like sunday afternoon.

Hello angels..

its update time again from the island...hmm..well, friday was fun! Me and Beatrice ran the secret garden bar alone (what were they thinking)..wasnt mad busy cause everyone was at the thai boxing (the bar owner is a fighter so he wanted to go and see his next aponanant).turned the chillout on at around midnight and watched the stars and listened to the insects and ghekos. Met these two amazing canadians...jen and joel and hung out with them last night. Hopefully gonna hook up with them in London and they're heading there this year. Had a few cocktails at the red dragon...wicked place and got chatting to some boys from surrey (walton on thames for those in the know) and they went to school with Matt!! ( knob of an ex boyfriend for those not in the know )....This stuffs starting to freak me out. So many stray dogs and cats here. We found a kitten on the beach last night and took her clubbing! didnt stay long though...dont think she was a house cat. Ive got today off instead of tomo now so won`t be going fishing then but the boys we met last night are going spear fishing on tuesday so hopefully gonna get in on that! you know i love it!! and go to shark island aswell. Just had a full english..going for an hour long massage ( its about 4 quid! ) and then gonna sit on the beach and do some drawings to make more flashcards for the kids. We found Mai, one of the girls from the school, yesterday and she followed us around so we bought her a can of coke and some chips. I swear everyone though we'd kidnapped her but we returned her home safely! Been teaching some english to some burmese people too ( they're not liked in thailand and often cant go to school here)...as i said before, all foreigners are collectively called 'farang' and after the lesson this burmese boy said - 'you no farang..you my sister'...could have cried!! hmm...what else to tell....been at the animal clinic quite a bit..the strays get into all sorts of trouble and its horrible to see them in so much pain. Ive got one of my sausages from breakfast in my bag to give to a stray in a minute! (hope i remember to do it!)...one of the barman at one of the dive resorts is from Devon so im making sure he gets lots of grief. stole a watermelon from behind the bar which was quite an impressive beer token i recon! gotta get up early to do a big beach clean up sometime next week. There are sooooo many fag butts on the beach and it takes 5 years for them to decompose and they cause all sorts of trouble for the coral and sealife. gonna put them all together in a glass case and they're gonna display it at one of the bars hopefully....just to say what was picked up in a couple hours and a little bit to explain to people why they shouldnt leave them there....its not that people dont care...well, most of them do anyway but people dont always know this stuff. Theres a full moon party coming up soon so we're heading to another island for that. got our face paint and hippy dresses and gear. gonna be a mad one! im definitely gonna get some pics sorted in the next few days-found a lap top to sort it with now. ok-better get going! hugs and kisses to all. xxxx
