16th July
We were up 7am as we had to get breakfast before getting to the dive shop for 8am. We said goodbye to john and Rachel as they were headed bake to Kota Kinabalu as there was nothing to do in semporna.
We had 3 dives at sipadan in all, they were all very good and the amount of fish we saw was amazing. The fish at these dive sights are not only plentiful but also large in size. We saw grey reef sharks, white tip reef sharks, some of which were the biggest we've seen and swam just a couple of meters away from Dan!!
There were also lots of great barracuda, trevally and tuna especially on our second dive. It was a little scary as the current was strong so we spent a lot of the time fighting against it.
Sipadan is supposedly on of the best dive sites in the world and it was amazing, it has a drop off of 600m on one side and 2000m the other, which is pretty awesome to see.
We hired a camera so we were able to get some pictures but it proved quite hard to take them in the water as most things are moving!!
After a wonderful day we decided too have roti's for dinner, before heading back to the room to watch a film!
