Today we decided to go to ayuthaya, it is just north of bangkok and the whole town is a unesco world heritage site, as there are many ruins.

We decided to make our own way as the minibus would cost us 390 baht where as the local bus was only 100 baht!! We asked a tuk tuk how much they would charge to get us to the station, it was way over priced and decided we would rather sweat it out walking than pay them!!

We got to the bus station, very hot and sweaty but a few bob better off!! Although the local buses dint have air con the trip was pleasant and after one bus change and 4hrs we had made it!!

After a long hr searching, we found somewhere to stay, however we hadn't banked on it being so pricey, so we could only afford a fan room, so we prepared ourselves to roast for the next few days!!
