Sunset at Playa del Coco, Pacific coast. A snake on the path which our You can see why surfing is the big attraction. This is the famous Salsa Brava shot from Beach Break. (p.S. Punta de Uva beach, near Puerto Viejo, Caribbean coast. Shame I have such a stupid expression in this photo, but look at the size of the beetle on me! This was at World of Insects, Monteverde. I have holes in my t-shirt from the hooks on its feet... An extremely cold swim in the San Ramon waterfalls, Monteverde. So cold it was quite painful, in fact. Had to be done though. One of the other people doing the Monteverde canopy tour. You can see just how high up the zip lines were, the last of the 16 was 600 metres long and 90 metres above the forest floor. An iguana we spotted during a trip up the Sarapiqui river.
